About Russian XBRL jurisdiction

The mission of XBRL jurisdiction in the Russian Federation is to support the development and standardization of XBRL use in Russia by assisting the implementation of XBRL projects by organizations and agencies, as well as interaction with the XBRL International, XBRL jurisdictions and other countries.

Objectives of XBRL jurisdiction in the Russian Federation:

  • Support and development of XBRL in the Russian Federation, including at the inter-agency and international level;
  • standardization of XBRL use in the Russian Federation;
  • assistance of organizations and agencies in the implementation of XBRL implementation projects.

Tasks of XBRL jurisdiction in the Russian Federation:

  • development of inter-agency and inter-state information exchange based on XBRL standard;
  • creation and support of national expertise in XBRL through the following activities:
  • the formation and consolidation of the Russian expert community in the field of XBRL
  • organization of thematic workshops and seminars;
  • organization of conferences and round tables;
  • Promote training and certification in the field of XBRL;
  • Preparation and distribution of Russian-language materials on XBRL;
  • Participation in XBRL International, standards and specifications development activities;
  • the development of national standards and guidelines for the use of XBRL;
  • Coordination of the activities of state authorities on the implementation and use of XBRL, the formation of data models and their unification;
  • represent the interests of Russia in the XBRL International.
